 'I’d like to dedicate this book to the memory of a dear friend who was a lovely young man. When his de facto wife left him and took their kids he was distraught. He fought hard to gain access to see his children and struggled to cope when bias legislation aided in preventing him visiting rights - he lived for his children and he loved them dearly. Eventually, he attempted to move on, but he could not live without them and sadly, he took his own life. We deeply miss him.'
